Music Monday: Love

Let’s face it, Dads & Moms.

Kid’s music … well. It kind of … sucks.

There are only so many animals that can safely live on Old MacDonald’s Farm, and while the wheels on the bus go round and round, there is something unnerving about so happily singing about a vehicle without seat belts. And why is that drive so rude?

I digress.

Here’s something NEW. It’s a kid’s song, yes, but it’s a beautiful song that adults can sing along with, more than a few times.

Lennon and Maisy Stella are the daughters of musicians, star in Nashville, and have recently put out an original kid’s song (that Kingsley is obsessed with – check it out, it’s called “In The Waves” and has a picture book that goes along with it!) They’re Canadian (!!!), bright and talented.

This song was recorded for a commercial for Coop Naturaplan in Switzerland. It sounds like a love song, but it’s all about Mother Nature. Performed by kids, with kid-friendly content, but with music and harmonies that parents can love. Now that’s a kid’s song!
